Kourtney Kardashian is honoring the memory of her dad, Robert Kardashian, on his 80th birthday by looking back on their special bond.

On Instagram this Wednesday, the 44-year-old founder of Lemme shared a touching tribute to her late father. Kourtney posted two childhood photos of herself with the well-known lawyer, expressing her longing to celebrate his 80th birthday with him by singing Happy Birthday and hearing one of his hilarious jokes one last time.

She reflected on her dad’s amazing sense of humor that added fun and joy to every aspect of life – car rides, meals, and movie nights where he introduced her to old classics weekly. Kourtney concluded her post by wishing the best Daddy in the world a Happy Birthday with a heartfelt message.

Messages of support poured in from Kourtney’s loved ones in the comments, including a sweet note from her husband, Travis Barker, calling her dad an amazing guardian angel.

Kourtney’s mother, Kris Jenner, also responded by saying, “The greatest father there ever was ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼.” Robert was born on February 22, 1944, and sadly passed away at the age of 59 on September 30, 2003, after being diagnosed with esophageal cancer. He became well-known for assisting his friend, O.J. Simpson, during his trial for the murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson. Robert and O.J. became friends while attending the University of Southern California, and O.J., the recipient of the 1968 Heisman Trophy, served as Robert’s best man at his wedding to Kris.

Robert and Kris were happily married for over a decade, from July 1978 to March 1991. During their time together, they were blessed with four wonderful children: their daughters Kourtney, Kim, now 43, Khloé, now 39, and their son Rob, now 36.

Kourtney is currently enjoying some time in Australia with Travis, as he embarks on his One More Time Tour with Blink-182. She’s been sharing their adventures on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse into their trip. Recently, she shared some backstage moments with her 11-year-old daughter Penelope Disick, 9-year-old son Reign Disick, and their newest addition, baby boy Rocky Barker.

Kourtney is the mother of Penelope, Reign, and Mason, whom she shares with her ex-partner Scott Disick. She also became a mother to son Rocky in November 2023 with her husband Travis.
