The Future of Wonder Woman 3: Where Will Gal Gadot’s Iconic Superhero Franchise Go From Here?

Prior to this, Gadot had expressed her confidence in Gunn and Safran’s assurance that the movie would be finished.

Unfortunately, Gal Gadot’s hopes for a third ‘Wonder Woman’ film have been dashed with recent reports indicating that the movie is no longer in development. This news comes as a blow to Gadot, who had expressed her excitement about being involved in another installment.
Despite believing that a third movie was in the works, the Israeli actress, who portrayed Wonder Woman, was left disappointed when it was revealed that there were no concrete plans for the project. James Gunn and Peter Safran from DCU made it clear that they had no intentions of creating another movie centered around the beloved superheroine.
Instead, the focus is currently on revitalizing the DC universe with projects like ‘Superman: Legacy’ and ‘Batman: The Brave and the Bold.’ It seems that the decision to shelve Gadot’s project may have been driven by the executives’ desire to start afresh with a new DC universe.

Fans were not happy about the prospect of Gadot returning as Wonder Woman, especially considering that other actors like Affleck, Cavill, and Momoa had already moved on from their superhero roles.
