The unfortunate pooch was found in a sorry state on the pavement. It looked like it wouldn’t survive much longer until the kind-hearted rescuer came to its aid.
The guy seemed weak and underfed, and a swarm of flies surrounded him, which was worrisome not only because of his bodily condition but also because no one seemed to care about him. It was only when a rescuer was alerted to his situation that anyone seemed to pay attention.
It was really heartbreaking to learn about what happened, but we are so thankful for the timely arrival of the rescue team that was able to save the dog!
The next day, we got an update from The Rescuer and it was something to celebrate. The dog’s condition had improved considerably. He was given the required rehydration therapy and had started eating properly. This was a positive indication that the dog would recover soon.
