When Asa, a volunteer at Animal Welfare League of Arlington, received a message about a pregnant cat needing a home, she immediately stepped up to help. The cat settled in well with Asa and began exploring her new surroundings before cuddling up with her foster mom. At only two years old, the cat has been incredibly affectionate and has been purring nonstop since her arrival.

Kalia, a pregnant cat under foster care, felt thankful for the cozy and secure home she was in, with a caring human who took care of her requirements. When she reached two weeks into her foster care period, she went into labor. She wanted Asa to stay around to support her during this time.
