“Charming snapshots of felines thriving in Finland’s winter wonderland”

Who doesn’t love a fluffy cat to cuddle with? In Northern Finland, there are four particularly adorable cats that go by the names of Sämpy, Hiskias Hääppönen, Elmeri, and Nelli. We’ve collected some photos of these megafloofs to brighten up your day and make you smile. While Sämpy may look like a Norwegian Forest cat, he is actually a 6-year-old domestic cat, just like Elmeri. Hiski, on the other hand, is a half-Norwegian Forest cat who is 2 years old. Sadly, Nelli passed away earlier this year, but her gray-white photos are still available on our site.

According to Riikka, their owner, Sämpy loves outdoor adventures, especially when the weather is not too cold. He enjoys exploring the nearby old forest where he can find excitement and interesting scents. Although Elmeri and Hiski prefer to stay in the yard most of the time, they do occasionally join Sämpy on his walks. In the winter, Riikka even builds obstacles for her cats to jump over in the backyard, which they seem to enjoy. So, if you’re in need of a little pick-me-up, take a few minutes to admire these fluffy felines.
