A feline was over the moon when she found a cozy spot for her little ones. She was so content that she even entrusted the doggie inhabitants to look after her kittens.

Angelica, a new mother cat with her three weak kittens, found themselves in a county shelter. However, the shelter environment caused Angelica to be stressed, and they all required extensive care and attention. Fortunately, AnimalLuvr’s Dream Rescue stepped in to take them under their wing and arranged for a foster home. This allowed Angelica to have a dedicated carer to tend to their needs, and a safe and comfortable place to raise her babies. Allison Ilcken, a volunteer foster carer, opened the doors of her loving home to welcome the four feline family members.

The little cats were not feeling well when they were saved by the staff at Ilcken Zoo. Allison, who works there, told Love Meow that although one of the kittens was nervous and stayed hidden during the ride home, she was still incredibly friendly. Once they arrived, the kitten named Angelica bravely started to investigate her new surroundings. She seemed delighted by everything she saw and smelled and soon cozied up with her siblings in a comfy bed.

Angelica felt overjoyed to find a new foster home where she could finally relax. Her contentment was evident through her constant purring and kneading of her paws. Her purrs were so loud and strong that they seemed like thunder. Angelica loved being around Allison and would keep her purr engine running the whole time. However, two of her kittens, Philip (black and white) and Peggy (grey and white), were suffering from severe upper respiratory infections, while Hamilton (tuxedo) had worms that needed attention. Even Mama Angelica needed some relief as she was having a fever and mastitis.

Angelica was showering her three little ones with love, under the watchful eye of her foster mom who was providing them with all the care they needed. Gradually, the trio began to show signs of improvement and even started displaying their playful nature. After a few days, Allison decided it was time to introduce them to her pets, who were all big dogs but friendly towards cats. Angelica wasn’t quite sure how to react to these giant creatures at first, but soon enough, she warmed up to them.

Philip and Peggy are seen spending some quality time with Olive, who is the resident dog at ilckenzoo. Angelica, on the other hand, seemed a bit hesitant towards the dogs at first; however, with some positive interactions and a little bit of time, she warmed up to them. The dogs were gentle and kind to Angelica’s little ones, allowing them to climb all over them and even nurse on their stomachs. Angelica was thrilled to have some helpers around. Peggy, who is known for her courage and outgoing personality, was the first to approach the canine kitten-sitters, and soon after, her siblings followed suit.

Allison shared with Love Meow that she spends some daily quality time with Peggy and Hope@ilckenzoo, allowing them to interact with the dogs. As a result, the cats have become more affectionate, purring and rubbing against the dogs’ legs. Angelica, the mother cat, is very caring towards her kittens but still possesses a playful nature that she enjoys.

Ilckenzoo witnesses how Olive is dedicated to kitten-sitting. She makes sure that the kittens are well taken care of whenever the dogs are around to watch them. During this time, Olive can finally relax and enjoy some peace while receiving attention from her humans. She’s always sweet and gentle with the little ones. These kittens have learned to play just like their mother and frequently engage in playful roughhousing, running around as if they own the place.

According to Allison, Philip and Olive’s pet Angelica has discovered her adorable voice and now enjoys spending time with her owners. She loves having company and even joins them in their bedroom for some snuggles and extra love. Whenever she seeks attention, Angelica lays down on the floor and waits for scratches, praises, and treats from her humans.

Angelica is a big fan of playing! It’s amazing to see how far she and her two companions have come since they were saved as weak kittens. Nowadays, they’re in great shape, always up for exploring new things, and love to play around.

Peggy, Hamilton, and Philip from ilckenzoo are all set to embark on a new journey in their lives! Among the four adorable kittens, two have been adopted by a loving family who will shower them with love and affection for years to come.
