A tiny newborn kitten of only six weeks was found with a serious injury and taken to the shelter. The poor thing couldn’t stand or walk, just sitting calmly and gazing up at everyone with pleading eyes that seemed to say: “Please, help me.” A kind-hearted volunteer took the kitten under her wing, bringing him back to her home for proper care and a cozy living environment.
Before anything else, the kitten needs to be treated. In the beginning, the vets suspected that the little one had a fractured pelvis. But upon taking a closer look, they discovered that it was not the case. Instead, she had broken her femoral head and torn her patellar tendon, which made it difficult for her to move around and walk properly.
Animals can sustain injuries from blunt force trauma caused by human abuse, such as being hit with a hard object or kicked. Sadly, many injured animals are brought to us as a result of this mistreatment. One cat, named Marshall, displayed remarkable resilience by surviving for several days despite his injuries.
Although the cute feline suffered some severe injuries, it remains in high spirits and is seeking comfort from a loving owner who can shower it with affection. Recently, the kitty underwent surgery on one of its paws.
The little feline’s operation was a success and it’s gradually recovering. Whenever it encounters a vet or helper, it begins to meow loudly due to its fondness for human attention. Although the wound hasn’t fully recovered, the puss will still hobble around, but at least it will be able to walk! This is what the clinic crew confirmed.
