One ordinary day in Santa Clara, locals witnessed a strange sight on the roadside near Pilar. A scaly creature was wandering aimlessly, looking frail and emaciated, which tugged at the hearts of those who saw it. Sadly, Hercules – as he was later known – was left without help for three weeks, causing severe physical and emotional damage to him. Upon examination by veterinarians, it was discovered that his skin was infected with dead skin cells, and his organs such as liver and kidney were also heavily infected. Additionally, he had a high parasitic load and tested positive for hemoparasites, necessitating multiple tests and a medicated bath.
Hercules faced a tough road to recovery, but the foundation staff was determined to support him every step of the way. They provided him with exceptional care, including a nutritious diet, medication, and plenty of love and attention. They waited patiently for the medical evaluations, hoping that Hercules’s organs had not suffered serious damage. Eventually, they received the results, and sadly, it was revealed that Hercules’s internal health had been affected in addition to his external health issues.
Hercules exceeded everyone’s expectations by demonstrating an impressive recovery and putting up a strong fight. He was able to walk and run again, which sparked renewed vitality that shone through his eyes. His caretakers were elated by his progress and showered him with love and kindness. They established a regular routine for him and made sure that he felt comfortable in their presence. Thanks to the constant attention and affection of the Foundation’s team, Hercules made substantial progress towards healing.
