Homeless animals face a multitude of challenges just to stay alive. They struggle to find shelter, food, and clean water on a daily basis. For healthy dogs, these tasks can be dangerous, but imagine how much harder it is for a paralyzed dog! It seems impossible, but one dog, who we now call Kuya Bon, refused to give up. Despite his disability and being abandoned by his owner after a car accident, he fought to survive on his own.

The owner of Kuya Bon was not very understanding and couldn’t handle taking care of a dog that required extra attention. As a result, the owner abandoned him, leaving him homeless and alone. For quite some time, Kuya Bon had to fend for himself on the streets, even during the rainy season when it was particularly difficult to find shelter. It’s amazing that he managed to survive for as long as he did before finally being rescued by a compassionate individual.

A compassionate lady spotted Kuya Bon, the dog, standing at a distance, and decided to lend a helping hand. She fetched a bowl of food for him and placed it on the ground. While he struggled to eat with his injured legs, she empathetically observed his condition and realized the urgent need for veterinary care. The kind-hearted woman even offered to spend her own money to assist in his medical treatment.

As the woman waited for Kuya Bon’s x-ray, she reached out to a local rescue worker for assistance. Holding Kuya Bon was becoming increasingly difficult and returning to the streets was not an option. Luckily, the rescuer was able to lend a helping hand. Kuya Bon is currently receiving treatment and recovering at a veterinary clinic. Although it’s unclear what his future holds, one thing is certain – he won’t be living on the streets anymore! Check out the video below to witness Kuya Bon’s rescue.
