Hampton, a Persian cat with long hair, has had to go through many of his nine lives by roaming the streets on his own. Although he was not meant to live in the outdoors, he somehow found himself without a home. With his scraggly appearance, he would meow at people passing by, hoping they would give him food and pets. His desperate plea for help caught the attention of a few Good Samaritans who were visiting the area. They knew that they had to do something to save the helpless feline. To get Hampton the medical attention he needed, they turned to social media for help. Claudia, a volunteer with Caitie’s Foster Fam, saw the post and immediately jumped into action.
Claudia drove to Hampton’s location in less than 20 minutes and was worried about his health when she first laid eyes on him, as per her conversation with Love Meow. She observed that his fur was heavily tangled, causing discomfort to his skin. Additionally, he had fleas and dirt all over his body and some bald spots on his fur.
Initially, Hampton was quite anxious, but once he arrived at his new home, he felt more comfortable as it was a place he had been yearning for. Having a roof over his head with food and comfort put him at ease. According to Claudia, who shared the story with Love Meow, he eventually realized she was there to help him and that his days of living on the street were finally over. The moment he discovered that he had his very own litter box, he was ecstatic.
Hampton, a four to five-year-old furry friend, recently enjoyed a luxurious day at the spa. He returned sporting an adorable lion cut, appearing content and stress-free with his new look. Throughout the process, Claudia has been a devoted companion, providing support and love every step of the way.
According to Claudia of Love Meow, Hampton has gained some weight and his coat is regrowing after being groomed. He begins his day with enthusiasm, eager to indulge in food and relaxation.
My furry buddy is settling in nicely with my other pets. He’s quite fond of playing with toys that have strings and enjoys taking naps while gazing out the window. He’s also a fan of being held and cuddled. The moment I scoop him up, he becomes completely relaxed and leans in for some head scratches.
Hampton is savoring every second spent with his human and furry companions in the cozy embrace of a caring home after braving the tough days on the streets.
