The staff at the Cat House immediately realized that the tiniest kitten among the litter was receiving no attention from his mother. She had abandoned him and refused to look after him, pushing him away whenever he came near. In order to provide him with the necessary care, Kristen Shepherd took him home for round-the-clock feedings and to provide foster care services.

Kristen made sure to give the baby all the necessary care including food, warmth, and extra attention that bottle-fed infants need. The staff noticed that the baby felt more secure and comfortable when swaddled, which led them to provide personalized care. Harvie mentioned that swaddling made the baby feel safe and warm.

Despite being smaller than his siblings, this little kitten received extra attention and care from his caretakers. Anjanette, one of the caretakers, went the extra mile to ensure the kitten’s comfort while sleeping. Drawing from her experience fostering and adopting cats, she swaddled the kitten in a warm blanket to help him sleep better.

While giving the cute little kitten a soothing facial massage, he peacefully dozed off, feeling cozy and secure in his purrito. Kristen realized the significance of providing a nurturing environment for the kitten’s overall health. Thus, she decided to place him under the care of another lactating feline who had newborn kittens.

Despite being seven weeks old, the little runt is still smaller in size compared to his new siblings who are around four weeks old. However, he gets along well with his adopted mother and siblings, often cuddling up with them. Although he’s making progress and improving, he’s still quite small.
