A friendly American bulldog mix named Mr. Snufflufugus was found running around Copperas Cove, Texas, feeling abandoned and scared. Fortunately, local animal control personnel came to his rescue and brought him back to Copperas Cove Animal Control. Upon being reunited with Tamara Hall, animal control supervisor, the grateful dog hugged her tightly, showing appreciation for being rescued. Victoria Watkins-Killebrew captured the sweet moment on camera. According to Hall, Mr. Snufflufugus enjoys visits from everyone, but she is his favorite person, and benefits from his extra-special hugs and kisses.
It’s not uncommon to see Mr. Snufflufugus seeking affection at the shelter. He’s become quite famous for his love for cuddles. His caretaker, Hall, says that he’s a real snuggle bug. Whenever you’re sitting on the floor or ground, he’ll approach you and climb onto your lap or snuggle up next to you. He uses his big, sweet eyes to look up at you and win your attention.
When Mr. Snufflufugus isn’t snuggling with his pals, he likes taking brief strolls around the vicinity, although he mostly enjoys unwinding and taking it easy. “He’s fond of taking short strolls, but he’s definitely a couch potato kind of pooch,” mentioned Hall.
Following the viral photo of Mr. Snufflufugus embracing Hall, Copperas Cove Animal Control has received numerous adoption requests for the adorable pup. As a small shelter, they are facing limitations in handling such a high volume of applications and are currently working on moving Mr. Snufflufugus to a larger rescue organization that can help him find the perfect match. Meanwhile, the furry little guy is enjoying his time with his buddies at Copperas Cove and learning how to be a well-behaved pooch from the dedicated volunteers. This lovable dog cannot wait to find his forever home and is eagerly anticipating showering his future family with lots of affectionate hugs!
