Isabelle stumbled upon a sad-looking cat that appeared to be unwell. She managed to get hold of him and reached out to us for help, to which we willingly obliged. Our investigation on social media revealed that the feline had been roaming around aimlessly for years without an owner to call his own.
In the midst of the unforgiving Canadian winter, the cat had suffered the consequences of the frigid temperatures as his ears were frozen. According to Celine, the cat’s ears were partially amputated due to frostbite while he also lost another part to a serious infection. Despite enduring the harsh and bitter cold on his own, the cat survived. The feline willingly entered the carrier provided by rescuers that held food inside upon their arrival.
Hansik, a brave ginger cat, received antibiotics to heal his wounds, and he also underwent dental surgery to ease his dental discomfort and enable him to eat without any problems. He has proven to be a tough feline, as he has used up several of his nine lives.
The resilient fighter, despite being FIV+, was able to recover with the help of dedicated veterinary care and a foster home that supported him for almost three months. Celine noted that he had been living outside in miserable conditions with frozen ears before he received the care and attention that he desperately needed.
Presently, the friendly ginger cat has recuperated entirely and has developed a newfound trust in people. He is presently on the lookout for a peaceful abode that he can call his own, where a caring family will forever treasure and adore him.
Hansik experiences immense happiness whenever he snuggles up in his warm and comfortable bed. The feeling of being contented and loved envelops him completely.
