An inhumane person abandoned a dog who was pregnant and tied her to a tree in a dense forest, hoping she would perish. Nevertheless, against all the odds, the courageous mother dog survived and gave birth to her puppies. For 10 days, she remained tethered while caring for her litter until someone finally came to her rescue. The mama dog’s resilience and bravery were truly exceptional.

Lara, a Pit Bull mix, had the unfortunate experience of being raised by an uncaring owner who failed to see her worth and that of her unborn puppies. Instead of taking responsibility, they cruelly tied her to a tree in a nearby forest outside Nafplion, Greece, depriving her of the opportunity to find a new home or seek refuge at a shelter.

Lara, who was expecting, was left alone and bound to a tree in the cold and remote woods. Despite being tied up, she successfully gave birth to four charming pups.

What a remarkable mother dog! It’s unbelievable how she managed to nurture and look after her litter for 10 days without any food, water, or shelter. Her unwavering devotion and resilience are a true testament to the power of maternal love.

After getting a tip-off from nearby inhabitants, the team in charge of rescuing animals made haste to reach the spot where a mother dog and her pups were stranded. Sadly, one of the young dogs didn’t make it through.

Thankfully, the rescuers showered the mama dog and her trio of pups with love and care, resulting in their recovery. Currently, they are thriving and exhibiting all the adorable and playful traits that come with being young puppies.

We strongly desire justice for the animals who were subjected to cruel treatment and hope that the perpetrator is held responsible and penalized accordingly. It brings us great relief that the dog and her puppies were rescued in time before any more harm could be done. Our optimistic expectation is that the puppies will be promptly placed in a caring home where they can receive proper love and attention.
